Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Indexix collects through this website, why, and the choices and rights you have over it.

Effective date: To be confirmed

1. Introduction

Indexix (“Indexix”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a software and digital product development company, providing website development, SaaS development, web application development, mobile app development and custom software development.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in connection with this website (indexix.com) and your interactions with us through it, such as submitting our contact form. It does not cover information we may process on behalf of a client under a separate project or service agreement — that is governed by the terms agreed with that client.

By using this website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the contact form or otherwise submit personal information to us through the site.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you choose to give us, and limited technical information collected automatically when you visit the site.

Information you provide voluntarily. When you submit our contact form, we ask for:

  • Full name
  • Company or project name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Project type (e.g. website, SaaS, web application, mobile application, custom software)
  • Approximate budget range
  • A description of the project you want to build
  • How you heard about us (optional)

We only collect this information when you actively submit the form — we do not require you to create an account or provide any information simply to browse the website.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and network infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information needed to serve the site and keep it secure — for example, IP address, general device or browser information, and which pages were requested. This is standard web server behaviour rather than a dedicated analytics, advertising or tracking system; see “Cookies and Similar Technologies” below for what we do and do not use on this front.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health data, financial account details or government identification numbers) through this website, and we ask that you avoid including this kind of information in the contact form.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it
  • Understand and evaluate the project you are describing, so we can reply with a relevant, useful answer
  • Keep a reasonable record of business communications
  • Maintain the security, integrity and proper functioning of the website
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use information submitted through this website for advertising, do not build marketing profiles from it, and do not use it for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not send newsletters or marketing email from this site.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share the information you submit through the contact form with advertising networks, marketing platforms or data brokers.

This website does not currently integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, customer relationship management (CRM), payment processing or newsletter service. As a result, there is no such third party for us to share your contact-form submission with today.

We may share limited information in narrower circumstances, specifically:

  • With hosting, infrastructure or IT service providers who process data strictly on our behalf to operate this website, under obligations to protect it and use it only as we instruct.
  • Where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order or lawful request from a public authority.
  • To protect the rights, property or safety of Indexix, our users, or others, where necessary.

If we integrate a new third-party service that changes how information is shared (for example, an email delivery or analytics provider), we will update this policy to reflect that before the change takes effect.

6. Data Retention

We keep information submitted through the contact form for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a reasonable business record of the communication, for example if the conversation continues or resumes at a later date.

We do not currently apply a fixed, automated deletion schedule to this data. We review what we hold periodically and remove information that is no longer needed for these purposes. You can also ask us to delete your information at any time, as described in “Your Privacy Rights” below, and we will do so unless we have a legitimate reason or legal obligation to keep it.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a website of this kind to help protect the information you share with us — for example, transmitting data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting who can access enquiries submitted through the site.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will take appropriate steps in line with our legal obligations.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website does not currently use cookies, browser local storage, analytics scripts, advertising pixels or any similar tracking technology to monitor visitors.

Fonts used on the site are self-hosted as part of the website itself, rather than loaded from a third-party font service, so no visitor information is shared with a font provider.

If this changes in the future — for example, if we add analytics to understand site usage — we will update this Privacy Policy beforehand and, where required by law, request your consent through a cookie or tracking notice before any non-essential cookie or tracking technology is used.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to any legitimate reason or legal obligation we may have to keep it.
  • Restriction or objection — ask us to limit how we use your information, or object to certain processing.
  • Portability — request your information in a portable format, where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@indexix.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you believe we have not handled your information appropriately, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country or region.

10. International Data Transfers

Indexix is based in Mitrovica, Kosovo, and information submitted through this website is processed there. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to, and processed in, Kosovo (and, where applicable, the location of any infrastructure provider referenced in “Data Sharing and Third Parties” above).

Wherever your information is processed, we take reasonable steps to handle it securely and consistently with this Privacy Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

This website and our services are intended for businesses and individuals seeking software or digital product development, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 through this website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@indexix.com so we can remove it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the technologies or services this website uses, or applicable legal requirements. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
